Do I need Surrogate Mother's help?

Using Assisted Reproduction slowly becomes norm. Carrying a child for someone who otherwise would not be able

to achieve parenthood is the most honorable gift on the face of Earth.

At what point the family or individual should decide if surrogacy arrangement is right for them? The answer is

pretty obvious for single males or gay couples, but married couples or single females may consider options.

In general, when the couple ( or single parent) decide to use gestational carrier and donor's egg, the success rate is highest possible, and currently reaches 60-65% per fresh IVF transfer, since it cures both problems: poor egg quality and implantation failure. Indeed, it may be also the best financial solution because it may need only 1 or 2 IVF cycles to achieve pregnancy.

QUESTION: What is success rate for surrogacy?
ANSWER:Surrogacy success rate is slighty higher than the IVF success rate for the same age group. It strongly correlates with the fact that the age of the women whose eggs were used determines success. Higher success rate occures due to elimination of "implantation factor". Since Gestational Carrier is very unlikely to have implantation problems, embryos have higher chance to get implanted. For example, I you are a women under 35 and experience infertility or miscarriage due to implantation problems, having gestational carrier increase your chance from 0 to 42%.

QUESTION:
I am 42 years old female. I went through 3 IVF without success. Presently, we have 3 frozen embryos. Should I hire a Gestational Carrier? Does it increase a success rate of pregnancy?
ANSWER: The success rate for gestational carrier is higher, 18% versus 11% for fresh IVF Cycle. In the same time, if your frozen transfer fails, you should evaluate your ovarian reserve to find out if you may need an egg donor and a gestational carrier, should you decide to go for more cycles.

QUESTION:
I am 40 years old female. I have no problem getting pregnant, but I miscarry. Should I use a Gestational Carrier? Does it increase a success rate of pregnancy?
ANSWER: You may miscarry because of your age that is translated into egg ( embryo ) quality. Gestational carrier may fail to get pregnant or may miscarry, if the quality of embryos is poor. If you have no implantation problems, you may use donor's egg, or may go for an egg donor + gestational carrier. In this case, success rate is the highest: 60-65% per transfer, since it eliminates both problems, poor embryo quality and implantation failure.
